The
relationship between illustrate inc and Co-operators Life (Co-operators) began over a decade ago. At the outset,
Co-operators was faced with the immediate challenge of building a
New Business illustration solution for a UL product in
development. The company selected illustrate inc to provide
an illustration engine to perform multiple calculations for UL
policies. This initial undertaking commenced a long association
between the two organizations. “illustrate
inc's involvement with Co-operators Life predates my 10 years here. I know that prior to my arrival, they were intimately
involved with the design and development of the company's first UL
product and that relationship continues today,” affirmed John
Dark, Assistant Vice President, The Co-operators. Success
is defined in many ways but the vital ingredients for achieving it
are often the same: trust, respect and the development of solid
professional arrangements. According to John Dark, “illustrate
inc generally participates in both early planning stages and
interim steps of product development. Additionally, they advise us
not only on what their system is capable of, but they provide us
with objective marketplace observations. Working this way with illustrate
inc has allowed us to deliver products in a timely fashion and
to have an accurate, dependable quote system that has more than
met our needs.”
After
an intense period of design and development, illustrate inc
is pleased to announce the availability of SuperFlex II, the most
recent release of the state-of-the art data editor.
We extend our congratulations to
Co-operators for
their latest release of Versatility, the illustration
solution built with illustrate inc technology and expertise.
Co-operators released version 1.5 and has just completed acceptance
testing for the next version release which is scheduled for field
activation towards the end of June. The Versatility project
implementation was completed as scheduled in spite of the added
complication of a concurrent national rollout of a new operating
system to the field force. This was also a massive undertaking that
required collaboration and support across the organization.
Additionally, Co-operators completed testing and implementation of
illustrate inc's Ultimate Presenter (v1.2) solution which
allows users to organize and present a variety of files, web pages
and reports in one simple, highly customizable window. Kudos to
The CUMIS Group who has gone live in the field with both the
desktop and web-based illustration solutions built with the illustrate inc
Ultimate Illustration System and customized as required. Since the
initial 'go live' phase, CUMIS has undertaken and successfully delivered
an illustration system upgrade to include new product support, changes to existing products,
and
underwriting updates, among others. The upgrade was released to the
field this May. Empire Life certainly hasn't kept idle either. The
company recently released version 6.3 of Envision, the Empire
illustration system. This updated version of the
system was released in May and included a variety of
additional functionality for rate changes and report enhancements.
Envision 6.4 is already well under way and due for release in
June. This release includes additional support for
underwriting changes, product changes, new products and additional
rate and report changes. We look forward to another successful
