illustrate inc Hosts First Client Training Day in September

 

An Overwhelming Success

On September 30, 2004, illustrate inc hosted its first Client Training Day. Sixteen client representatives from seven major insurers as well as  illustrate inc business partners and associates attended the day-long interactive training and education sessions held in Mississauga, Ontario.


Session Overview

The Client Day agenda was packed with valuable information that included hands-on or interactive exercises for the attendees. Zahir Dhalla, President of illustrate inc, welcomed all participants to the event and Lorne Brown, Business Development, set the stage with an overview of current illustrate inc components. He also  took the class through a short tour of the current ULtimate illustration system. The class moved on to interactive sessions, beginning with Head Office tools and SuperFlex II, the latest release of the Data Editor tool. Scott Yan led the session and included numerous examples and exercises for the attendees to get a feel for the power and efficiency of the tool.  The class then moved on to the CSR Report Editor and this time, Victor Zyzela demonstrated the power and breadth of the component. In the session, attendees created their own custom reports from scratch.

The sessions then progressed to field tools and Scott Yan gave the class an extensive view of illustrate inc's Presentation Designer, Multi-session and Compare as well as a virtual tour of the CSP – Product Rules Editor and the newest regression testing tool developed by illustrate inc.  Overall students expressed that the sessions were very informative and valuable and have given them some ideas on what they might want to see in their own illustration systems.
