More importantly, iPOS integrates information across various applications, allowing the agent to only enter customer information once, creating a smoother sales workflow.

Advanced Sales Concepts
One of the most unique features of iPOS is the integration of advanced sales concept tools. These tools storyboard various client scenarios, and lead the agent through the process of collecting information and illustrating how an insurance or financial product can meet the client's goals--all within a professional sales presentation. By comparing a number of possible solutions, the sales concepts tool allows the agent to educate their clients and establish why a particular insurance solution is the best choice for their needs.
The sales concepts tool has three access modes: a client presentation mode, an expert mode that allows for direct data entry, and an agent/advisor training mode. Built on illustrate inc's flexible and modular system, the sales tool calculates and illustrates existing gaps between the client's current needs and coverage, produces optimal solutions based on smart solves that run in the background, and then creates reports and charts illustrating how insurance products bridge the gap.
A suite of four sales concepts are currently available:
- Family Needs
- Estate Protection
- Leveraged Life Insurance
- Buy and Sell Agreements

Any concept can generate a full report package. The reports are comprised of relevant storyboard data, results of concept illustrations, and any product compliant illustration reports. This comprehensive package can be printed or saved as a PDF file that can be emailed to the client.
Dynamically generated graphs that appear within the storyboard and reports highlight the client's exposures. These graphs paint a story that clients will quickly understand, instead of reading through long reports.

illustrate inc developed the requirements for the advanced sales concepts in collaboration with The Co-operators Life Insurance Company and the CUMIS Life Insurance Company. Working with both companies throughout the development process resulted in an agile application that can be easily modified for new concepts or new clients.
