illustrate inc is pleased to announce the release of the Insurance Point of Sale (iPOS) system. iPOS is a flexible launch pad that allows
advisors to initiate virtually any application--including third-party applications--from one convenient place. More importantly, iPOS integrates information across various applications, allowing the
advisor to only enter customer information once, creating a smoother sales workflow.
Built around the familiar Windows XP collapsible navigational
panels and toolbars, tasks can be grouped into workflows that make sense for
your suite of offerings and target user. Colours, icons, etc., can easily be
configured to reflect your brand and standards.
As Seen in the screen grab that follows, iPOS can be configured to
directly launch almost anything in your suite of offerings such
as:
- CRM systems
- Client risk profiles
- Advanced sales concepts
- Illustration software
- E-forms
- Sales support documents
- Training manuals
- Web Pages
The area to the right of the navigational panels can be configured
as a target window for the application selected by your user. In our sample
screen grab, we have used this area to house the initial screens of our new
Sales Concept System (more on this later in this article).
In keeping with illustrate inc's development philosophy,
iPOS can be easily configured by Business Analysts.

Advanced Sales Concepts
In the sample iPOS screen above, we have incorporated illustrate
inc’s new Advanced Sales Concept system.
This easy to use tool allows advisors to explain complex financial
concepts, calculate client specific needs and present custom
product solutions in the manner that best suits the advisor’s
style of doing business.
The professionally designed “Presentation Mode” can be used one on
one with prospects or even for group seminars. For advisors who
prefer to do the “what-ifs” before they visit their prospects,
the “Advanced Input” mode allows them to bypass the slide
presentation and get right to the concept specific inputs and
results. The “Agent Mode” can be configured as a training
tool, allowing advisors to walk through the presentation at
their own pace while accessing suggested scripts and resources
at every screen..
A suite of four sales concepts are currently available:

- Estate Protection
- Leveraged Life Insurance
- Buy and Sell Agreements

Simple and to the point, the
above sample combines visuals and words to make a dramatic point
with the prospect.
Dynamically generated graphs that appear within the storyboard and reports highlight the client's exposures. These graphs paint a story that clients will quickly understand, instead of reading through long reports.

illustrate inc developed the requirements for the advanced sales concepts in collaboration with The Co-operators Life Insurance Company and the CUMIS Life Insurance Company. Working with both companies throughout the development process resulted in an agile application that can be easily modified for new concepts or new clients.
